Valerie Bonk is a law school graduate, broadcast news reporter and anchor and freelance reporter and videographer working in Maryland, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.

News reporter for NBC affiliate WHAG-TV in Maryland broadcast to 1,000,000+ possible viewers through live shots and on-air reports both in the newsroom and in the field. Coverage includes breaking news pieces as well as criminal trials, investigative stories and human interest packages.

Local editor and reporter covering Maryland responsible for story ideas, investigative research, writing and editing articles, photographs and videos, managing a team of freelancers, producing daily regional video packages, and leading seminars for reporters.

ABC News​ - Intern/Production Assistant

Intern and later production assistant at Good Morning America assisting producers and consumer correspondent Elisabeth Leamy through shooting, editing, researching, finding tape, pitching story ideas and helping with broadcasts and live shots.
